Plant proteins can get by consuming dhal, whole gram, peas, beans etc. Walnut, pistachio, almond without skin and seeds also can be eaten three times a week. Include soy in this list to get protein. Common food products such as tofu, soy milk and mizo should be naturally processed.
Plant proteins provide more protection to the kidneys than animal protein. The reason for this is that red meat and processed meat contain high sodium and saturated fat, with the risk of kidney disease.
But plant proteins also have sodium, but very less amount which provides more protection against the influx of kidney disease. Apart from this calcium, magnesium and vitamin C in the plant can reduce the excess of acid secretion in the stomach .
