Nutritious recipe

Ingredients

  • Drumstick leaves - 1 cup
  • Banana stem - 1 medium size
  • Chopped Big onion - 1/2 cup
  • Chillie powder - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Black Gram Dhal - 1 tsp
  • Ginger Paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted bengal gram flour - 2 tsp
  • Salt - for taste
  • Chopped curry leaves - little

Instructions

  • Clean the greens and chop it.
  • Cut banana stem into small cuts.
  • In one tsp. of Gingelly oil add mustard seed and dhal with curry leaves.
  • Add ginger paste and chopped onion. Saute it for some time.
  • Now add banana stem cuts followed by turmeric powder, chillie powder, salt and required water to cook.
  • When the stem is half cooked add greens. Cook it for five minutes.
  • At last sprinkle gram flour  for binding purpose and to enhance the taste as well.
